Guardian Glass Project: Le Garance

The Guardian SunGuard® SN 62/34 with red spandrel coated solar control glass products offers high natural light transmission and minimise the need for artificial light at Le Garance.

Guardian Glass Project: Le Garance

Le Garance was inaugurated by the Minister of the Interior, on 12 January 2016. This building, designed by the firm Métra + Associés, is a stunning project in the heart of the 20th arrondissement of Paris.

It has housed more than 26,000 m² of office space on 5 levels and has buried an RATP bus depot on several basement levels.

Its gigantic bright red wall cracked by eight irregular faults that open up views of the city and the central island, which is entirely green, makes it unique and varies in mirror effect according to the opposite facades and promotes the integration of the project into its environment.

Through its design and operation, Le Garance, provides a modern and functional working environment that made it awarded to a Silver Pyramid in 2013 in the “Commercial Property” category.

In terms of economic and ecological performance, this building has been certified HQE and received the high rate BREEAM.
