Mappi chooses not to participate to Glasstec 2020

Life is made of choices and choices must follow the heart and mind. For Mappi, each international fair represents passion, desire, new emotions in meeting new and old friends, managing challenges, nothing beats eye contact. Glasstec, one of the best fairs in the glass sector, is no exception to all this. But there are priorities that go beyond heart’s reasons and safety is the first priority.

Our eager heart cannot blind our mind, we have to cancel this year’s participation to Glasstec 2020. The safety of our employees and customers cannot be guaranteed: this is the only certical information we have.

October is just around the corner, possible developments of Covid-19 are unpredictable, planning and preparation of a major event like Glasstec requires time, accuracy and safety that no one can guarantee today.

In our life priorities come before business. Safety is our first priority. Customer support, constant search in solutions and innovations for a better world, and unconditional love for the glass industry, remain at the top of our hearts and minds.
